Unity Vol Fire Department has coverage of a fire they responded to in Penn Hills on April 2nd, 2010. A vehicle caught fire inside a garage of a residence. Here is the incident report from their website:
Station 233 was requested by Penn Hills #226 for a structure fire, car fire in the garage on School St. in Universal. 226 arrived on scene with heavy smoke coming from the garage side A. 227 Engine layed supply line, 226 and 227 crews with interior attack. 233 Truck on scene, request for ventilation and ground ladders placed. 233 Rescue on scene assigned for R.I.T. setup side A in driveway. 233 Chief given operations by 226 Asst. Monroeville 195 Engine on scene also, assisted with securing utilities. Fire in vehicle extinguished, no extension into upstairs. Penn Hills fire marshall on scene for investigation. All 233 units returned.
