Follansbee, W.Va. —

An explosion was reported  near the PA/W.Va. line early Friday morning.

Initial reports indicate that the explosion may have happened at a home in Follansbee, W.Va. — about 50 minutes from Pittsburgh just over the Washington County line.

So far, emergency dispatchers have only said there was an explosion – but did not know any other details.

First images from the scene indicate that a home was demolished in the explosion, with nearby homes possibly damaged.

Some WPXI-TV Facebook fans reported hearing and feeling the explosion.

“I felt this in my house near Breezy Heights Tavern,” Brandy Loar said. “Shook my house at 6:07 a.m.”
