Crews Battle Third Fire at Erie House in Less Than a Month

August 25, 2014- Erie Firefighters battled a house fire at 643 East 9th street for a structure fire early this morning – the third at that house in less than a month.

Heavy smoke and flames were reported just before 4 a-m; the fire fighters had the fire out in only a few minutes.

Chief fire inspector Guy Santone is looking into the cause of the blaze.
