Sorry for the lack of updates, other business has kept me away from updating the site as frequently as I’d like.
So for you folks that like to listen to recorded audio from incidents around the area, I have a treat for you today. I have uploaded 6 new fire audio incidents for your listening pleasure.

This is the audio from the October 11th, 2009 Ross Twp fire where a man was found alive after the fire was mostly extinguished. Initial fire conditions and partial roof collapse prevented firefighters from doing initial searches, however the victim was found asleep once later walkthroughs were being performed.

Four more incidents have been added to the Fire Audio section, including the Fox Chapel Mews apartment fire in O’Hara Twp that is in the wrap up stages at the time of this writing, two Millvale fires from earlier in this month, and a motor vehicle accident in Marshall Twp that happened in June.

For those of you who haven’t noticed yet, the video section of the site is being revamped. If you have a video from an incident, a departmental video, a tribute video, or any other type of emergency video that you would like posted be sure to contact us so that we can link to it. We would like to grow this section of the site to have a nice collection of western PA fire videos.
Two more audio clips have been added in the audio section. They are from the beginning of January and include a residential structure fire in Hampton Township and a motor vehicle accident in Shaler Township on Route 8.
Two more site links were added as well, they are for Belle Vernon VFC – Station 4 in Fayette county, and Lower Burrell #3 in Westmoreland county. Check them out when you get a chance.

Fire audio files have also been added for 5 incidents from the summer time frame in 2008. The incidents include a motel fire in Avalon, a Marshall Twp MVA, a Bellevue MVA, a Ross Twp fire, and a physical rescue in Bradford Woods for a person that had a tree fall on them.
